In Tribute
On September 26, 2001, 'Pavilion' was performed in lower Manhattan, blocks from Ground Zero, in tribute to the World Trade Center heroes, victims, and victims' families.

We wrote at the time:
15 days ago we heard, we saw, we felt ... we lost ... so many precious, irreplaceable ones ... our landscape changed ... And then we saw the generosity of the people of our City ... no gift was too costly to give - even the gift of life ... 15 days later, today, we gather here in Lower Manhattan our neighborhood, in our City, in grief, in tribute, in hope ... to honor the fallen, the brave, the self-sacrificing ... we dance our dance we sing our song this is a dancer Tadej Brdnik, these are musicians - Samir Chatterjee, Sanghamitra Chatterjee, Eric Phinney, Yousif Sheronic. This is Mike Riggs, Ron Knoth, Sven Van Damme and I am Jonathan Hollander ... We are Battery Dance Company.
