Directions to the 2002 Downtown Dance Festival Performance Venues

The 21st Annual Downtown Dance Festival will be held starting August 24th through the 30th, at two downtown venues:

Battery Park Performances

The Downtown Dance Festival performances at Historic Battery Park will be presented on the Great Lawn, accessible from State Street at Pearl, and adjacent to the Staten Island Ferry Terminal.

To get to Battery Park
By subway: take either the #4 or #5 to the Bowling Green Station, or the N or R line to Whitehall Station.

By bus: take the #1 or #6 bus (marked South Ferry) to Pearl Street; enter the park, which is on your right.

Chase Plaza Performances

The Festival performances at Chase Plaza will be presented on the Nassau Street side of the Plaza, at the level of Cedar Street. The Plaza occupies an area between William and Nassau Streets, bordered on the North and South by Liberty and Pine Streets.

To get to Chase Plaza
By subway: take any of the following lines to the Wall Street Station: #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 or you can take the N or R lines to the Rector Street Station.

By bus: take the #1 or #6 bus (marked South Ferry) to Wall Street; walk West on Wall St. to Nassau, then proceed North (left) on Nassau one block to Pine, enter the plaza on your left.

Both venues are wheelchair accessible (via ramp at Chase Plaza).
